The space is a single large room, which will initially be set up to accommodate social/behavioral research. It will be private and confidential for human subjects research, and will be flexible so that it can be used for interviews, surveys, small focus groups, and other tasks.
A new program aimed at training people to be community health workers has already gotten an important boost: a grant to cover scholarships for some attendees.
