Dylan is a doctoral student in the Developmental Psychology program mentored by Dr. Elif Isbell, and is a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow. Here at UC Merced, he earned a B.A. in 2021 and a M.A. in 2024 in Psychological Sciences
Dylan uses electroencephalogram/event-related potentials (EEG/ERPs) to study the neurodevelopment of cognitive control, or how individuals control their attention and actions, during early childhood. He is also interested in how these skills and associated brain functions support concurrent and later academic success.
