Estrella Herrera, Ph.D

I am an environmental engineer and scientist dedicated to study dust implications for improving health in rural and dust-prone communities. I have developed diverse collaborations to continue exploring more health outcomes associated with dust to inform the community and implement effective solutions to mitigate its impact among dust-prone communities. In addition, I am studying the bioaerosols carried by dust in the San Joaquin del Valley. I have also participated in interdisciplinary environmental studies in air pollution control, water management, botanical research, environmental compliance, ISO 14001 lead auditor, and Environmental Management Systems.
