2019 Research Week Community Forum




Celebrate 2019 Research Week with a special free community presentation from the UC Merced Nicotine and Cannabis Policy Center (NCPC). 
Professor Anna Song will describe the background and plans for this innovative center, the first tobacco policy center in the state to receive funding from the Tobacco-Related Disease Research Program.

The NCPC is a four year, $3.8 million grant seeking to gather and understand the thoughts of rural California residents on tobacco and cannabis policy. The results will be used to develop policy recommendations which reduce tobacco related disease and death in the San Joaquin Valley. Read more on the NCPC here
