My background is in both experimental and theoretical high-energy physics. I enrolled in the bioengineering program to leverage my mathematical and modeling skillset in clinically relevant research. My current project examines the structural and physiological changes in the thymus vasculature before and after irradiation. By understanding how vascular architecture influences thymic recovery and function, this research aims to enhance immune reconstitution, particularly following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HCT), ultimately improving patient outcomes.
