Our research focuses on understanding how the mechanical interaction between the heart and blood vessels shapes blood flow and cardiovascular health. We study how aging and disease alter pressure and flow dynamics and develop non-invasive methods to translate routinely measured cardiovascular signals into meaningful indicators of disease risk. By combining biomechanics, computational modeling, and experimental data, our work aims to support earlier detection and more personalized approaches to cardiovascular care.
