I’m Ranjan, a graduate student from University of California, Merced and a proud member of Dr. Goyal’s research group. I have been an admirer of science and engineering  and its advancement in the field of health science, specially prosthetics. There may be many reason for a person to end up in a situation where the person may lose his/her limbs. But it is not longer a dream come true where you can have an artificial limb. But we are still far from having one which is comparable in terms of complex functions. My research focuses on it betterment and to bridge the gap in small steps to achieve the perfect prosthetic device which can be termed as an artificial limb.
