The UC Open-Access Policies

October 22, 2018 - 2:00pm to 2:50pm

In 2013, the University of California Academic Senate adopted an open-access policy to ensure that all research articles published by UC faculty members are publicly accessible at no charge.

In 2015, the Presidential Open Access Policy expanded the rights and responsibilities of the 2013 policy to all non-senate lecturers and academics, researchers, scholars, staff members and graduate students.

This workshop will cover the rights and responsibilities described in both policies, and will also feature an introduction to the UC Open Access Publication Management System.
